Kev Mason is a British photographer and filmmaker whose career has taken him from the British Army and international events into the world of equestrian sport.

Kev built his reputation behind the camera, working across high-end automotive, corporate and live events. His portfolio has included work around brands such as Porsche and Bentley, as well as major international sporting events including the Longines Global Champions Tour.

Then came horses.

What started as a personal interest became something considerably deeper. Owning and spending time around horses changed the way Kev looked at photography. Horses don't perform for the camera in quite the same way people do. They don't care about the shot, the lighting or the schedule. You have to understand them, earn their trust and learn to anticipate what is about to happen before it happens.

That connection became the foundation of his work.

Today, Kev combines his experience in professional event and commercial photography with a genuine understanding of the horse world. From vets and farriers to riders, trainers, equestrian businesses and international competitions, his approach is centred around creating imagery and films that show the people, the horses and the work behind the scenes.

His photography is clean, cinematic and deliberate — but above all, it is about authenticity.
